Ruby Tuesday Launches New Menu and Enhanced Salad Bar; Guests Can Now Choose from More Than 30 New Dishes and a Salad Bar with 65 Additional Items


MARYVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2005--Ruby Tuesday, Inc., (NYSE:RI) one of the nation's leading casual dining restaurant companies, introduced a new menu today with additions in nearly every section. The chain also enhanced its salad bar to include more than 65 items from which guests can create their own signature salad.

The new menu, which is available at more than 700 Ruby Tuesdays across the U. S., features 20 "Kickstarter" appetizers, with eight new items, including Buffalo Chicken Wontons - fried wonton wrappers filled with Buffalo-sauced chicken and served with bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks for dipping - and grilled Coastal Crabcakes boasting Ruby Tuesday's own signature recipe of crabmeat, crawfish, and a spicy blend of seasonings. The enhanced burger section of the menu offers Ruby's '30' Famous Burgers, with choices that range from beef to bison and from turkey to chicken. Ruby Tuesday believes its famous burgers are "so good" (the brand's new advertising slogan), that it's launching a burger guarantee starting today that promises a free replacement burger of equal or lesser value if you aren't happy with the one you were served.

The menu continues to feature many guest favorites for which the chain has become famous, like Hang off the Plate Ribs(R) - fork-tender premium baby-back ribs, slow-cooked for hours and seasoned with Ruby Tuesday's secret spices; New Orleans Seafood(TM) - broiled seasoned tilapia topped with shrimp and creamy Alfredo sauce; the Ultimate Colossal Burger(TM) - two half-pound burgers on a triple-decker bun with American and Monterey Jack cheese.
